Oh man, I am so pissed off. To cut a long story short I have been researching feminism (that just says it all right there)for my art history essay. It was pretty interesting until I got to the sites where people could actually write their opinion- quite predictably, it went to shit from then on.
A choice quote "there is plenty of evidence that men are more intelligent than women too. That's why you invent very little, start very few companies and earn less. Get over it."
And then there's the "Women are all sluts and it's not sexual harrassment, they're asking for it, just look how they dress" ...right next to "Feminists are all lesbians, because they're ugly and no man wants them.." and the good old "show us your tits or shut up". So what? What am I supposed to do? Hm? Oh, yeah, and one guy who said if you have big boobs, you should 'tape them down' or bind them, cos that's tempying men. You tease.
"What are you wingeing about, women are treated equally, you can vote now, right?" also seems to be quite popular. Well I guess we are treated equally, in that everyone treats each other like shit.
Damn. Okay, calm down. I know it's just internet idiots, but there is a whole lot of them, and I'm beginning to wonder how many people think like this, but don't have the balls to say it in real life. I hope they all get exactly what they want. That'll teach em.

I hate the internet. Dunno why I always end up on these stupid sites. So anyway, I'm not gonna do feminism as a topic anymore.. and I shall be conducting further research in the library. From books.
